Structure and mechanism of Group II Intron RNP complex

Group II introns self-splice to yield mature RNA, and integrate into DNA as retroelements. In order to enhance our understanding of splicing and retromobility, we studied the LtrB intron from Lactococcus lactis, the best characterized group II intron RNP.
